IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MAC
USERS
If you are using either Netscape Navigator 4.05 or a previous version
or Microsoft Internet Explorer for the Macintosh version 4.01 or
a previous version, as of January 1, 2000 your browser will not
support a secure connection to our website*. This is due to a security
component of the browser that is set to expire at the end of 1999.
We recommend that you upgrade your Netscape or Microsoft browser
to the most recent version before proceeding. For more information
about this issue please click on the link below:

To download the most recent version of Netscape or Internet Explorer:
Netscape: http://www.netscape.com/computing/download/
Microsoft Internet Explorer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/
* Please note: This is not a REAC or HUD related issue. Microsoft
Internet Explorer 3.0 and later for Windows is not affected by this
problem.
UPGRADE YOUR INTERNET
BROWSER
REAC has been contacted by many REAC system users who have been
experiencing problems using the business applications. These problems
have arisen with the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above
and the Netscape 6 browser upgrades -- either of which may prevent
users from using the applications successfully.
REAC is in the process of researching these problems and implementing
a solution. In the meantime, users needing to access any of REAC's
On-line Systems should use Netscape 4.76 as the browser. If you
don't have access to this browser, it can be downloaded for free
by clicking on the link below:
NETSCAPE:
Please be sure to download and INSTALL the 4.76
version. The 4.76
version must be used EVERY TIME you access HUD/REAC
Secure Connection. Do not download or use Netscape Version 6.0,
MS Internet Explorer or derivatives.

CUSTOMER SURVEY USAGE TIPS
The system is ultimately limited by its capacity to handle Web
submission traffic. Therefore, please do not wait until the last
minute to make Customer Satisfaction Survey transactions! If everyone
chooses the final day for completing their work, delays and system
lock-ups are possible.
The "M" in your user ID is a part of the unique user login identifier.
Please capitalize the "M" when entering your user ID into the "User
Name" field. Also, remember that your user ID and password are case
sensitive. This means you must enter the ID exactly as you received
it from HUD.
In Customer Satisfaction Survey, do not certify until you have
finished entering units for all of your developments. Please enter
required field information sequentially before clicking on the certify
button on the Project List page. Also, be sure to enter all vacant
units!
