Centers Across the Country Observe Neighborhood Networks Week 2010!

Hundreds of centers across the country participated in the 10th annual Neighborhood Networks Week, observed August 2–7, 2010. During the weeklong observance, Neighborhood Networks centers participated in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-sponsored Web-based events and hosted local events that showcased center resources, recognized the efforts of those who help make center programs a success, and highlighted center and resident accomplishments. The national observance also helped to increase awareness of the community-based Initiative with centers located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Centers are invited to submit photos and summaries of their local events to Neighborhood Networks. Photos will be included in the Online Scrapbook.
