The Neighborhood Networks Week Event Planning Guide Is Now Available Online! Interested in hosting a local event in observance of Neighborhood Networks Week 2010 but aren't sure of what type of event to host? Need some tips for planning a successful event that will have attendees saying, "Can't wait until next year!"? Looking for some resources that you can share with attendees at your event? Look no further. Help is here with the Neighborhood Networks Week Event Planning Guide.

Filled with ideas, strategies, and tips, the Neighborhood Networks Week Event Planning Guide provides direction and guidance for hosting a successful event in your community. The guide has been completely updated and enhanced for Neighborhood Networks Week 2010 to include:

 -   A revised step-by-step description of the event planning process (pages 19 - 28). To further assist center staff with their event planning, the guide has been expanded to include planning resources, such as a planning timeline and worksheet, a budget checklist, a volunteer application form, and a worksheet to help you coordinate speakers.
 -   Even more resources that center staff can use during their events, such as a list of some of the fastest-growing occupations that require an Associate degree or less, sample informational interview questions, tips for ensuring a safe Internet experience and creating strong passwords, and a Neighborhood Networks 15th anniversary coloring page.
 -   A timeline that highlights significant milestones and accomplishments achieved by Neighborhood Networks over the past 15 years.

Printed copies of the guide will be distributed to every center soon. In the meantime, an electronic version of the guide can be downloaded from the Neighborhood Networks Web site.
